Content Creator

The opportunity

You are an experienced writer with a curious mind and a journalistic heart.  You lean heavily on the science of copywriting – including research, frameworks, and formulas – while also bringing an artfulness to your copy. You will sit in marketing but tightly integrated across teams, working alongside product marketers, designers, developers, and CX specialists. You will also support our growing community presence. The position will report to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on a data-driven content strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Researching and analyzing data about our industry, prospects & customers
  • Editing copy for clarity, voice, specificity, believability, and just plain awesomeness!
  • Managing the blog, blog content, and securing backlinks from partner sites
  • Asset creation such as e-Books, guides, whitepapers, videos, and case studies
  • Organizing webinars for events such as product features, best practices, or customer spotlights
  • Creating and producing content and ideas for our evolving web properties
  • Promote content distribution through online channels such as social media

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or similar
  • 3-5 years’ working experience producing content for B2B
  • Excellent creative writing and communication skills (in English)
  • Outstanding ability to plan, prioritize and execute projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • A strong business acumen
  • Proficiency in WordPress, or other Content Management Software
  • Familiarity with basic SEO, willingness to grow your SEO knowledge
  • Team player who is collaborative and can work independently as needed
