Marketing Director

The Opportunity

You are a strategic marketer with a proven ability to direct a multi-functional and diverse marketing team.  You could also teach us a thing or two in the following areas: demand generation, SEO, digital marketing, positioning, content marketing, thought leadership, portfolio development, and public relations.  You bring experience in establishing new channels to market and high-impact tactics that generate significant interest.  You already have a solid foundation with inbound marketing and are looking to lead a team at connecting the dots and bringing real business results.

About the Position

Reporting to the CEO of IC Thrive, you will be directly managing a team of 4 marketing professionals while closely collaborating with Product, CX, and Sales.  Working directly alongside our Head of Communications you will help realize broader demand for our products and related roadmap.  It terms of time breakdown you can imagine roughly 20% strategy, 20% mentoring & developing the team and 60% execution in general.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, communicate and execute on long-term strategic marketing plans
  • Oversee the marketing budget and build cases to support investments
  • Manage, mentor and lead a high-performance team of creative marketing professionals
  • Design and direct acquisition campaigns across organic and paid channels
  • Report on performance, projects, attach KPIs and address feedback
  • Conduct digital, social media, email, and other marketing programs
  • Ongoing development of product/market fit, growth and pricing strategy for portfolio
  • Elevate the brand, our best practices, methodology and solutions to increase our authority
  • Develop deep understanding of target personas through relationship building

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience
  • Bachelors' degree or diploma in marketing
  • Demonstrated success growing B2B company revenues
  • Successful portfolio expansion history
  • Sound base in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, SoMe, Paid, etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of tools of the trade (GA, CRM, Marketing Automation)
  • Proactive communications, extremely organized, and strong at prioritization
  • Good sense of humor, adaptive, and a positive disposition
